CRITERIA FOR SELECTION PROCESS FOR WADOKAI ENGLAND STUDENTS

TO COMPETE IN THE WADOKAI ALL NATIONS CHAMPIONSHIPS 2018

To be eligible to compete in the Wadokai All Nations Championships 2018

Starting with the December 2017 training session students of Wadokai England must attend 3 training sessions before the selection weekend to be held in April, students who are then successful in their selection in either Kumite or Kata or both are required to train on 3 monthly sessions after.

‘We appreciate that athletes may have extenuating circumstances as to why they may not complete the full 6 training sessions and also take in to account the commitment of our International athletes and the commitment to EKF squad sessions. In the event that you are unable to attend a session please inform us in advance as to your reason for absence (wadokaiengland@hotmail.com) whereby the register will be updated, this will be given consideration during the selection process and may still enable you to be eligible to represent Wadokai England. Failure to notify us in advance will result in your attendance affecting your eligibility for selections’
