Results From The 2016 FEW European Championships

It was an excellent day at the office for the Wadokai England squad at the 2016 FEW European Championships in Belgium, which was contested by 353 competitors from 15 countries.

Despite some very, very tough competition, our 72 athletes came top of the medal table. Whilst we had the biggest squad with 23% of the entries for the tournament, we won 36% of the gold medals and 38% of the silver medals (see table adjacent).

Excellent Medal Haul In Budapest

Wadokai England’s 75 competitors enjoyed an excellent set of results at the 2015 FEW European Championships in Budapest, Hungary.

The squad came home with 66 hard-won medals (19 gold, 24 silver and 23 bronze); representing their country with distinction.

Indeed the total English delegation (including Coaches, Officials and families) exceeded two hundred people.
